TRIO LIIFE

Well well well we cover 17 wards. Basically my eyes are glazed over and I am balancing 634 life stories of members that we visit on the tip of my brain. We delegate responsablities and pester CEOs to set up dinners for us. Life in Draper.

We are in a trio and oh wow we are all so different. It is the best thing ever. Sister Wright is high energy and likes to scream and throw her body around. Sister Westbrook is suuuper cool and a conversationalist and lowers her head in shame when I invite members to knock on their neighbor's door and ask them to meet with us. I am obsessed with the rules and spend my time cracking one-liners. Celestial trio.

I love training. Let me clarify: I love training Sister Westbrook. The first three weeks of training can be summed up as the following: a balance between crushing their dreams and letting their dreams crush them. It is a delicate dance. BUT after that training is a party. She teaches me social cues that have been long forgotten after a year of making people feel uncomfortable purposefully. I owe it all the her.

Being a missionary is the best. We played ultimate frisbee as a zone (22 missionaries) and it got really intense, personal and competitive. Then everyone starts yelling "have charity" and "be dignified" and "obedience brings blessings." I live in this strange and holy microcosm, but it is the best. Imagine if everyone called out competition and pride for an increase of charity. Imagine!!
