one year!

 It has been a year since I left for the Mexico missionary training center. Got sent home after twelve days, then was home for three months. Got reassigned to Salt Lake City. What a ride🎢

To celebrate, we roasted s'mores with one of our favorite families, the Baileys. S'mores are my all time favorite🍫🔥

We experimented knocking doors for the first time. We are so pure and innocent and have absolutely no idea what we are doing. It was so awkward but eventually we found success and someone said that we can come back!

We have been so blessed. We get meals from members every day for dinner and it is enough to eat for lunch, too. 🍉🥨🥗We almost never cook and the members make amazing food. AND they just drop it off because we aren't allowed to eat in their homes. Best thing ever!!

Transfers are tomorrow and I am staying in Draper and training! I am getting a brand new missionary. I am sad to see Sister Guillen leave🥺 but excited for the next transfer!

  We had miracles on Sunday  People that we are teaching went to church like CRAZY. The most amazing instance was when a girl who is at her dad's house in another city 50% of the time went to the ward over there. Big win because her dad doesn't like the church. She is 13 and making these decisions on HER OWN!  On Friday, we drove to a guy's house that told us we could stop by anytime. But when we stopped by he wasn't home. But as we were driving away we saw him in the far off distance in his backyard. SO we yelled his name from the other side of the yard and climbed down the retaining wall and started teaching him  Less than 10 days. I am going to soak this all up. Love you Sister Hall

  Hello! I am halfway through my mission and looking back, it has been a surprising and great journey.  - mexico mtc for 12 days - home mtc for 4 weeks as a missionary - worked at home depot for 2 months - started my mission in the samoan area - serving in spanish!! Hello, Well I was sitting on the plane just relishing in my last moments of no expectations. I thought to myself, "enjoy this while you can, because it is going to be non-stop work, obedience and strict schedules for the next fifteen months." Hahaaaa what a joke. Expectations met reality and it hurt a little. I'm in a trio with two Samoan sisters serving in the Samoan area. We are stationed in West jordan and the area we cover is bigger than my actual mission! Sister Tofaeono is my trainer and my other comp's name is Sister Mariner. Sister T is very understanding, chill and extremely genuine. I love that about her. She is so chill in fact that when i ask for guidance or about the rules, she says, "do what ever you want." And sister mariner is beautiful and mellow. They are both from Samoa and they speak Samoan as their first language. They speak it to each other a lot so i am kinda in my own world A lot of the time.
