Hello

This week was awesome! One of the people we are teaching is really progressing. He even taught the Elder's Quorum class over zoom this Sunday. He even gave evidence that the Book of Mormon is true. He is AWESOME.  It was Sister Westbrook's birthday so we went out to Pizzaria Limone to celebrate. I had pizza with blackberries on it. Delicious. I do recommend We taught a primary class. "Was it successful?" one might ask. We gave them candy and no one died. So yeah, it was successful I don't have much time to write, so bye! Love, Sister Alice Hall

The brain should be INside the head, right?

It was a great week! Here are the notable things 1. General Conference. Eight hours of tv?! Yes please. I loved so many of the talks and just having time to remember what is truly important: Jesus Christ 2. A member gave us an Easter dinner and for dessert she gave us each one pound chocolate bunnies . We left them on a random doorstep down the street and ran .  3. We were watching general conference as a district, all happy and in la-la land, AND THEN suddenly they call Alvin F Meredith "Tripp" to be a general authority??? That is my mission president. Ah no! So we had a mission wide zoon call and we all cried and went through the 7 stages of grief. He is leaving in June. Never forget Tripp . He is an amazing person. I have never met someone who cares so much about my true conversion to Christ. 4. We saw a dog with its brains coming out of its skull. We saw the literal brain and blood. Everyone acted like it was nothing as the three legged dog was walking around, begging t

Candy Necklace review

Hello I bought a candy necklace  I was so excited to wear it but when I tried to put it on, my HEAD WAS TOO BIG. I couldn't fit it over this big noggin. Genetics are working against me I am training again! My companion's name is Sister Westbrook and she is from California. She is the second of five. My favorite things about her are that she is an amazing story-teller, decisive, outgoing, and iconic. Overall she is super cool and I am blessed to be able to welcome her into the mission! Also, she said she doesn't like food with taste. We eat every meal together, but rarely the same meal We spent some time knocking doors this week. The usual way this goes down is we message a neighbor who lives next to a person who has not yet accepted the message of Christ's restored gospel. We ask the neighbor if they would accompany us to knock in the door. Usually they say yes, unless they have good information for why we shouldn't. Then we knock on the door and introduce ourselv

It has been a year since I left for the Mexico missionary training center. Got sent home after twelve days, then was home for three months. Got reassigned to Salt Lake City. What a ride To celebrate, we roasted s'mores with one of our favorite families, the Baileys. S'mores are my all time favorite We experimented knocking doors for the first time. We are so pure and innocent and have absolutely no idea what we are doing. It was so awkward but eventually we found success and someone said that we can come back! We have been so blessed. We get meals from members every day for dinner and it is enough to eat for lunch, too.  We almost never cook and the members make amazing food. AND they just drop it off because we aren't allowed to eat in their homes. Best thing ever!! Transfers are tomorrow and I am staying in Draper and training! I am getting a brand new missionary. I am sad to see Sister Guillen leave  but excited for the next transfer! Byeeeee
