Another awesome week in Draper!









 There is a lost cat sign on a lightpost in our church parking lot that has a reward of $1000. Ladies and gentlemen, Draper UT🐈


One of the real house wives of Salt Lake lives in my stake. We went to her house, but only her "real house husband" and kids were there 💅🏻🤳🏼

We had zone conference which is great because 1) free lunch and 2) great counsel on hoe we can be better missionaries and disciples of Christ! What a win?! 

I love serving in Utah with all my heart🚵‍♀️❄🗻🌻☀️⛪❤ I am so blessed and so grateful to be here! I have a great view of the valley and I am serving with my wonderdul companion over an awesome stake. I see the work being done efficiently and effectively. I see people magnify their callings. I see genuine friendships bring people into the gospel. I love my mission!!

Mother's Lounge and Fun lessons

  We leave our appartment every day by 9am. We return at noon for lunch and then stay out till 9pm. This means that we spend a lot of time in church buildings. It so happens that the mother's room has the most comfy chairs. We thought this was a fun little secret until some elders told us that they ALSO spend all their time in the mother's room. Man! Nothing is sacred anymore When you need to convince a 10 year old boy to go to a lesson, you have to use a trebuchet as bribery. And it worked! The family was explaining to us that they once launched a baseball and it disappeared into the horizon. Hopefully no one was injured  ️ We taught a little girl about the Plan of Salvation by decorating cupcakes to represent the different phases we go through. She told us it was the best lesson ever and that she was going to eat all 18 cupcakes right then and there. Not little for long Sending my love to all of you Sister Hall

Trucks hearts smile

  We saw some drama unfold on the wild streets of Draper!! A semi truck was crossing a two lanes of oncoming traffic to pull into a driveway. While one lane stopped to let him pass, the car in the second lane was like no way josé and started to slowly creep up to block the truck. Then the truck driver hopped out of the cabin and the truck driver's friend ran out of the house. The car started to drive threw and the friend threw his coffee at the the car's windshield🤯 We got an email from pres saying that all of a sudden a lot of missionaries in the two spanish zones have covid . Whoops, looks like I was a trail blazer!! 🖤  So we can't teach in person, have meetings in person, or do service. But we can go shopping and out to eat-- hallelujah 🏻. So, I guess it is a baby quarentine 🏼 The mission ia changing me so much-- it is wild! She really is a trooper

  Sister Westbrook is amazing. Four weeks into the mission and she has to get a root canal . She had pain for a week in her mouth and ear. Today we went in and she got it all fixed. But hey, if you're going to get a root canal, be in Utah. If she had been in her original assignment in Guatamala, well say goodbye to that tooth! We had zone conference this week. Lunch is always provided. This time, they had pizza. Because of Covid, we have to have individually packaged meals, so each companionship got their own little cesar's pizza. Score   Road trip & a miracle. We went to Taylorsville for Sister Wesrbrook's visa work which is outside our tiny mission boundaries. We were so excited. We chanted ROAD TRIP! ROAD TRIP! every five seconds. And the miracle was that we were in and out of a government building in ten minutes.  Love you ALL!  Sister Hall:)
