The brain should be INside the head, right?











 It was a great week!

Here are the notable things
1. General Conference. Eight hours of tv?! Yes please. I loved so many of the talks and just having time to remember what is truly important: Jesus Christ💗

2. A member gave us an Easter dinner and for dessert she gave us each one pound chocolate bunnies🐇🍫. We left them on a random doorstep down the street and ran🏃🏼‍♀️. 

3. We were watching general conference as a district, all happy and in la-la land, AND THEN suddenly they call Alvin F Meredith "Tripp" to be a general authority??? That is my mission president. Ah no! So we had a mission wide zoon call and we all cried and went through the 7 stages of grief. He is leaving in June. Never forget Tripp🥺. He is an amazing person. I have never met someone who cares so much about my true conversion to Christ.

4. We saw a dog with its brains coming out of its skull. We saw the literal brain and blood. Everyone acted like it was nothing as the three legged dog was walking around, begging to be pet. As his owner was talking to us, I was dry heaving. Grateful for masks!

Serving the Lord as a full-time missionary is unimaginable. It is so much more than I ever thought it would be. It requires a change of heart and mind so expansive, daunting, and exhausting that it hurts. It yields blessings so humbling, tender, and sweet that you can't deny the infinite goodness of God. And yet, it is fun. I love it.

Ah I am just happy. I am so blessed because I was transfered to a Spanish area and I am in good company! My new companion's name is Hermana Hopkins. She is from Texas and she has a choir personality! She is really into theater and singing and being dramatic which can be interesting. Every night, she lays down on the bed and plays music from her phone and sings unapollogetically! Awe man she has a beautiful voice!! It is insane. But you know what is also besutiful? Silence. So I take long showers now. "Adapt. React. Readapt. Apt." -Micheal Scott Comp life is difficult. Trucks hearts smile

  We saw some drama unfold on the wild streets of Draper!! A semi truck was crossing a two lanes of oncoming traffic to pull into a driveway. While one lane stopped to let him pass, the car in the second lane was like no way josé and started to slowly creep up to block the truck. Then the truck driver hopped out of the cabin and the truck driver's friend ran out of the house. The car started to drive threw and the friend threw his coffee at the the car's windshield🤯 We got an email from pres saying that all of a sudden a lot of missionaries in the two spanish zones have covid . Whoops, looks like I was a trail blazer!! 🖤  So we can't teach in person, have meetings in person, or do service. But we can go shopping and out to eat-- hallelujah 🏻. So, I guess it is a baby quarentine 🏼 The mission ia changing me so much-- it is wild! Bye Bowl

 This week was difficult and good! Tuesday was the worst because nothing happened. But we really cracked down on finding this week. I love cold calling people, but it stresses other people out, so we don't do it as often as I like. But we found two new people to teach by doing that this week. We had a free car wash for the people we are teaching. Out of fifteen people we invited, only one couple showed up. But that's okay because the ward leaders got to know them while us missioneries cleaned the cars. And we basically washed the cars with dirty water and a hose because the we held it at a high councellors house and he didn't have soap. You get what you pay for! One elder was like, "He has a porche but no soap ." Then the elders took pictures in front of the porche and got inside so they could rev the engine.
