Candy Necklace review

 Hello❣

I bought a candy necklace🍬 I was so excited to wear it but when I tried to put it on, my HEAD WAS TOO BIG. I couldn't fit it over this big noggin. Genetics are working against me😤

I am training again! My companion's name is Sister Westbrook and she is from California. She is the second of five. My favorite things about her are that she is an amazing story-teller, decisive, outgoing, and iconic. Overall she is super cool and I am blessed to be able to welcome her into the mission! Also, she said she doesn't like food with taste. We eat every meal together, but rarely the same meal🥯🍟🍦

We spent some time knocking doors this week. The usual way this goes down is we message a neighbor who lives next to a person who has not yet accepted the message of Christ's restored gospel. We ask the neighbor if they would accompany us to knock in the door. Usually they say yes, unless they have good information for why we shouldn't. Then we knock on the door and introduce ourselves, ask about their lives, and then ask to share a message! No fruits yet-- YET! 🍉🍐🍊🍓

We went to Scheels. It is a sporting goods store BUT WAIT there is more. It has some museum exhibits, a fish tank, and a ferris wheel. We try to be creative as missionaries, and mission accomplished because it was fun! 🎡🐠🦌🦆🦅

I am so excited to celebrate Jesus Christ this Easter! He gives everything we do purpose. I love Him so much and He loves each of you so much💗

  We had miracles on Sunday  People that we are teaching went to church like CRAZY. The most amazing instance was when a girl who is at her dad's house in another city 50% of the time went to the ward over there. Big win because her dad doesn't like the church. She is 13 and making these decisions on HER OWN!  On Friday, we drove to a guy's house that told us we could stop by anytime. But when we stopped by he wasn't home. But as we were driving away we saw him in the far off distance in his backyard. SO we yelled his name from the other side of the yard and climbed down the retaining wall and started teaching him  Less than 10 days. I am going to soak this all up. Love you Sister Hall

  Hello! I am halfway through my mission and looking back, it has been a surprising and great journey.  - mexico mtc for 12 days - home mtc for 4 weeks as a missionary - worked at home depot for 2 months - started my mission in the samoan area - serving in spanish!! Hello, Well I was sitting on the plane just relishing in my last moments of no expectations. I thought to myself, "enjoy this while you can, because it is going to be non-stop work, obedience and strict schedules for the next fifteen months." Hahaaaa what a joke. Expectations met reality and it hurt a little. I'm in a trio with two Samoan sisters serving in the Samoan area. We are stationed in West jordan and the area we cover is bigger than my actual mission! Sister Tofaeono is my trainer and my other comp's name is Sister Mariner. Sister T is very understanding, chill and extremely genuine. I love that about her. She is so chill in fact that when i ask for guidance or about the rules, she says, "do what ever you want." And sister mariner is beautiful and mellow. They are both from Samoa and they speak Samoan as their first language. They speak it to each other a lot so i am kinda in my own world A lot of the time.
