This week was very good. It was also the end of an era: my best district yet. It took a miracle to make this district. None of us were supposed to meet each other but due to very divine circumstances, we all enjoyed these last 6 weeks together:') But I am excited for the change because sometimes being too close to missionaries distracts me, so it was great for the time being, but I am ready to refocus!

I am staying here in Draper and I am going to train! How exciting?! I have really grown to love the Draper area and ward❤ I am excited to be here for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It feels like home!

We went up a lil mountain and filmed a music video in the snow. It was the best day of my mission life. One elder loves to vlog and another elder had a really smart idea to ditch his snow boots on the hike up because they were giving him blisters, but then it really started to snow, so he got a very cold. My companion's face started turning blue and an elder fell and cut his hand. An adventure of a lifetime! And one elder said it best, "I am not happy per se, but I am full of joy." 

We got a car!! A subaru. Life made!

Well I am at the point in my mission that if I am not living in Draper and driving a tesla in 20 years, know that I am not living my dream. I absolutely love it here.

  It was a great week! Here are the notable things 1. General Conference. Eight hours of tv?! Yes please. I loved so many of the talks and just having time to remember what is truly important: Jesus Christ 2. A member gave us an Easter dinner and for dessert she gave us each one pound chocolate bunnies . We left them on a random doorstep down the street and ran .  3. We were watching general conference as a district, all happy and in la-la land, AND THEN suddenly they call Alvin F Meredith "Tripp" to be a general authority??? That is my mission president. Ah no! So we had a mission wide zoon call and we all cried and went through the 7 stages of grief. He is leaving in June. Never forget Tripp . He is an amazing person. Candy Necklace review

  Hello I bought a candy necklace  I was so excited to wear it but when I tried to put it on, my HEAD WAS TOO BIG. I couldn't fit it over this big noggin. Genetics are working against me I am training again! My companion's name is Sister Westbrook and she is from California. She is the second of five. My favorite things about her are that she is an amazing story-teller, decisive, outgoing, and iconic. Overall she is super cool and I am blessed to be able to welcome her into the mission! Also, she said she doesn't like food with taste. We eat every meal together, but rarely the same meal We spent some time knocking doors this week. The usual way this goes down is we message a neighbor who lives next to a person who has not yet accepted the message of Christ's restored gospel. We ask the neighbor if they would accompany us to knock in the door. Usually they say yes, unless they have good information for why we shouldn't. Then we knock on the door and introduce ourselv...

Hello, Well I was sitting on the plane just relishing in my last moments of no expectations. I thought to myself, "enjoy this while you can, because it is going to be non-stop work, obedience and strict schedules for the next fifteen months." Hahaaaa what a joke. Expectations met reality and it hurt a little. I'm in a trio with two Samoan sisters serving in the Samoan area. We are stationed in West jordan and the area we cover is bigger than my actual mission! Sister Tofaeono is my trainer and my other comp's name is Sister Mariner. Sister T is very understanding, chill and extremely genuine. I love that about her. She is so chill in fact that when i ask for guidance or about the rules, she says, "do what ever you want." And sister mariner is beautiful and mellow. They are both from Samoa and they speak Samoan as their first language. They speak it to each other a lot so i am kinda in my own world A lot of the time.
