life is good






 This week was a great one! It had experiences from every spectrum of the corona mission that I am serving.

1. We had a baptism and it was precious! The husband of this adorble couple is now a member, so they have their sights set on the temple. Eternal families is really why we do everything. 
2. We had three straight days where we had no reason to leave. I actually enjoyed them! I love our apartment and I was able to do a lot of studying and reading. And then when we id end up seeing people after our little "staycation," I was even more grateful for it. Also, I was only able to get through that al because I practiced mindfulness and God's grace. It really has been helping me!
3. My companion does so many musical numbers because she is super musically talented-- she has the voice of an angel and she plays the cello! So I got to sit in on a lot of practices for that and man it jut fills my soul with rest. 
4. Wow I have the BEST district! We hiked a super dope trail today. Utah has really good hiking spots. It was all uphill, but the view was gorgeous! Honestly, if it weren't for the missionaries in this mission, then I would not be having a great time. But I am having the best of times.

  We had miracles on Sunday  People that we are teaching went to church like CRAZY. The most amazing instance was when a girl who is at her dad's house in another city 50% of the time went to the ward over there. Big win because her dad doesn't like the church. She is 13 and making these decisions on HER OWN!  On Friday, we drove to a guy's house that told us we could stop by anytime. But when we stopped by he wasn't home. But as we were driving away we saw him in the far off distance in his backyard. SO we yelled his name from the other side of the yard and climbed down the retaining wall and started teaching him  Less than 10 days. I am going to soak this all up. Love you Sister Hall

  Hello! I am halfway through my mission and looking back, it has been a surprising and great journey.  - mexico mtc for 12 days - home mtc for 4 weeks as a missionary - worked at home depot for 2 months - started my mission in the samoan area - serving in spanish!! Hello, Well I was sitting on the plane just relishing in my last moments of no expectations. I thought to myself, "enjoy this while you can, because it is going to be non-stop work, obedience and strict schedules for the next fifteen months." Hahaaaa what a joke. Expectations met reality and it hurt a little. I'm in a trio with two Samoan sisters serving in the Samoan area. We are stationed in West jordan and the area we cover is bigger than my actual mission! Sister Tofaeono is my trainer and my other comp's name is Sister Mariner. Sister T is very understanding, chill and extremely genuine. I love that about her. She is so chill in fact that when i ask for guidance or about the rules, she says, "do what ever you want." And sister mariner is beautiful and mellow. They are both from Samoa and they speak Samoan as their first language. They speak it to each other a lot so i am kinda in my own world A lot of the time.
