Ah I am just happy. I am so blessed because I was transfered to a Spanish area and I am in good company!

My new companion's name is Hermana Hopkins. She is from Texas and she has a choir personality! She is really into theater and singing and being dramatic which can be interesting. Every night, she lays down on the bed and plays music from her phone and sings unapollogetically! Awe man she has a beautiful voice!! It is insane. But you know what is also besutiful? Silence. Comp life is difficult. No matter how much I love and like Herm Hopkins, I have to meditate twice daily and pray for patience even though I LOVE being her comp. It is just a change. I really am grateful to work along side her. She calls people every day to freak out to them. We balance each other out. I have not felt stressed for the whole week I have been here. Blessed. 

We texted a lady whose contact was in our phone to introduce ourselves and ask if she wanted to talk about Jesus. She responded back that through the power of God she can speak spanish. And that she needs a blessing from someone holding the priesthood of Malachi. She said she had a message for us. We left her on read🤫

We met a guy in Walmart who said, "SISTER!! Have you ever met a Brazillian who has talked to Jesus? Well now you have. I was in a coma and I talked to Jesus and I am alive because the King lives! So now when people ask if you know someone who has spoken to Jesus, you do!" Then his friend gave us $20. I am grateful for the joy Christ brings to people and I am grateful that the truth of Jesus Christ is for everyone-- every background & personality & station in life.

Ps i just heard my comp read her weekly email outloud and say "my companion has no idea whats going on." I guess I am not as self aware as I thought haha.

1) we walked to Menchies, but we spoke Spanish so it counts as studying right??

  We had miracles on Sunday  People that we are teaching went to church like CRAZY. The most amazing instance was when a girl who is at her dad's house in another city 50% of the time went to the ward over there. Big win because her dad doesn't like the church. She is 13 and making these decisions on HER OWN!  On Friday, we drove to a guy's house that told us we could stop by anytime. But when we stopped by he wasn't home. But as we were driving away we saw him in the far off distance in his backyard. SO we yelled his name from the other side of the yard and climbed down the retaining wall and started teaching him  Less than 10 days. I am going to soak this all up. Love you Sister Hall

  Hello! I am halfway through my mission and looking back, it has been a surprising and great journey.  - mexico mtc for 12 days - home mtc for 4 weeks as a missionary - worked at home depot for 2 months - started my mission in the samoan area - serving in spanish!! Hello, Well I was sitting on the plane just relishing in my last moments of no expectations. I thought to myself, "enjoy this while you can, because it is going to be non-stop work, obedience and strict schedules for the next fifteen months." Hahaaaa what a joke. Expectations met reality and it hurt a little. I'm in a trio with two Samoan sisters serving in the Samoan area. We are stationed in West jordan and the area we cover is bigger than my actual mission! Sister Tofaeono is my trainer and my other comp's name is Sister Mariner. Sister T is very understanding, chill and extremely genuine. I love that about her. She is so chill in fact that when i ask for guidance or about the rules, she says, "do what ever you want." And sister mariner is beautiful and mellow. They are both from Samoa and they speak Samoan as their first language. They speak it to each other a lot so i am kinda in my own world A lot of the time.
