Tough Crowd and Some Spankings

 Hey Everyone!

So yes we were visiting members and their special needs daughter spanked me HARD. The parents replied, "She does that sometimes." And I give a second witness that yes, indeed she does do that sometimes. It was hilarious. We are friends now.

We gave talks in church. We spoke in one ward and aw man they ATE US UP! We cracked joke after joke. I hit them with the classic "I have been in Drapernso long that I am going to be a tour guide here" and "ask me restaurant recommendation because I know this place the best." They were dying, gasping and laughing. Then we tried the EXACT same jokes with the next ward we spoke in-- silence. I still hear the echos of my jokes that fell flat in my nightmares. Whew that was fun. And thwn after the meeting a guy came up to me and told me that I was hilarious. The audacity. Cherry on top: we taught that same ward's Sunday School. Surprise surprise, silence. My respect goes out to Sunday School teachers everywhere.

We visited a member whose last name is 'Gay.' I asked the question everyone has been wondering, "How does it feel to have your last name be Gay?" She replied, "Well, my mother-in-law's name is Gaye and she legally changed her name to Gaye Gay when she got married." I shed a literal tear sitting on that lady's couch. Sister Westbrook claimed that I laughed so hard the spirit left the room.

It is niiice and sunny so we spend some hours camped outside the church buildings in our lawn chairs. We play ultimate frisbee for our pday activity and I am always laughing my head off. What a great time to be alive!

Love you ALL❤
