 Flat Tire

Friday was fun because we got a flat tire! So we spent four hours total--changing the tire + getting a new one. I lowkey enjoyed it because it changed up our routine.

When you find new people to teach, you make a "miracle" video to announce it to your zone that you got a new. So, my comp was having a bad day, so we dressed up like pirates and made a miracle vid. My bottle of "beer" is actually worstichire sauce #WordofWisdom #Sodium

Two people that we have been teaching for a while said that they are good with their own beliefs and to stop contacting them. That is kind of how missionary work goes. You find new people to teach and lose the other people you teach, but our efforts are not in vain. My job isn't to force people to be baptized; my job is to invite others to Christ so they can choose to be baptized. At the end of the day, if I have worked hard, then I have done my job.

Testimony
I know God loves all of His children!!! Isn't that wonderful:) He cares enough about you to give you a million second chances. He loves you enough to send His Son to die for you so that you can live again!!! Beautiful.

By the way, if you're wondering how I am doing, I am good. Life is good.

  We had miracles on Sunday  People that we are teaching went to church like CRAZY. The most amazing instance was when a girl who is at her dad's house in another city 50% of the time went to the ward over there. Big win because her dad doesn't like the church. She is 13 and making these decisions on HER OWN!  On Friday, we drove to a guy's house that told us we could stop by anytime. But when we stopped by he wasn't home. But as we were driving away we saw him in the far off distance in his backyard. SO we yelled his name from the other side of the yard and climbed down the retaining wall and started teaching him  Less than 10 days. I am going to soak this all up. Love you Sister Hall

  Hello! I am halfway through my mission and looking back, it has been a surprising and great journey.  - mexico mtc for 12 days - home mtc for 4 weeks as a missionary - worked at home depot for 2 months - started my mission in the samoan area - serving in spanish!! Hello, Well I was sitting on the plane just relishing in my last moments of no expectations. I thought to myself, "enjoy this while you can, because it is going to be non-stop work, obedience and strict schedules for the next fifteen months." Hahaaaa what a joke. Expectations met reality and it hurt a little. I'm in a trio with two Samoan sisters serving in the Samoan area. We are stationed in West jordan and the area we cover is bigger than my actual mission! Sister Tofaeono is my trainer and my other comp's name is Sister Mariner. Sister T is very understanding, chill and extremely genuine. I love that about her. She is so chill in fact that when i ask for guidance or about the rules, she says, "do what ever you want." And sister mariner is beautiful and mellow. They are both from Samoa and they speak Samoan as their first language. They speak it to each other a lot so i am kinda in my own world A lot of the time.
